The mile high state is home to some of the prettiest of National Parks due to the presence of the Rocky Mountains. It is also home to a world heritage site in Mesa Verde National Park. Even though this state is my neighbor, I have barely scratched the surface of wonderful things that are here to photograph. Found within this gallery are images from Mesa Verde, Black Canyon of the Gunnison (which just burned down), and Great Sand Dunes National Park.
